Nijntje / Miffy

Miffy is a cute white bunny, originally created in 1955 by Dutch author, artist and illustrator Dick Bruna. She’s Dick Bruna’s best known and most popular character.

Miffy is uncomplicated, innocent and has a positive attitude. That’s why she appeals to children all over the world. Especially young children can relate to Miffy’s exciting adventures.

Miffy is called ‘nijntje’ in the Netherlands. For those outside of the Netherlands often struggle with the pronunciation of this word, so she is mostly known as Miffy in other countries.
